Airports
The main airport for flying into St. John and the majority of the US Virgin Islands is the Cyril E. King Airport which is located on the southwestern end of St. Thomas Island. Once you have arrived in St. Thomas, it's just a short ferry ride to St. John. The Cyril E. King Airport is serviced by larger commercial airlines such as American Airlines, Continental Airlines, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines and US Airways.
Chartered flights are available to get you to neighboring islands.

St. John Island is located roughly 1.5 miles east of St. Thomas Island. The US Virgin Islands are located east of Puerto Rico within the Caribbean between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean.
Car rentals are available at a reasonable price for exploring the island. Be sure to bring along your valid driver's license from home if you plan on renting a car.
