The primary airport for the St. Lucia is the Hewanorra International Airport located in Vieux Fort on the southern end of the island. Some flights originating from nearby islands arrive at George F.L. Charles Airport located in Castries on the northwestern shore of St. Lucia. Many large airlines such as American Airlines, US Airways, and Delta Air Lines provide service to the St. Lucia. Another option for arriving to the islands is by cruise ship to the Pointe Seraphine or to Port Castries in Castries.
